Snapshot: Yorkville Resident Participates in "Hoops for Hope"

Yorkville resident Haley Young, right, was among Aurora University students taking on Aurora's Hope D. Wall School Rockets Special Olympics basketball team in "Hoops for Hope," a second annual exhibition game with AU students and employees at Thornton Gym on Thursday, March 14.
Halftime featured a performance by Wall cheerleaders and six AU professors who were pied in their faces for $1 donations. The event was a fundraiser for Mu Sigma Pi, an AU service learning club for pre-healthcare students.
