River Night Escapes Rain and Turns into a Family Fun Filled Evening

River Night was hosted by the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce on Friday, June 21 at Riverfront Park.

Despite the heavy rains earlier in the day, the only water at River Night in Yorkville on Friday was the Fox River flowing nearby.

The family event featured bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals and plenty of local vendors.

In conjunction with the Summer Solstice Festival several bands also played throughout the evening starting at about 6:30 p.m. until midnight.
