Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre reservations due by Sunday

Sandwich – When the cast of a once popular television show arrives at a reunion in its honor to celebrate the revival of the production, someone is murdered and everyone is a suspect. Now, it will up the audience and other ‘witnesses’ to find out who the guilty one is in PR Production’s upcoming dinner theatre presentation of “The Fatal Fifties Affair.”  

 

Performances are Friday and Saturday, August 2 & 3 at the Fox Valley Community Center, 1406 Suydam Road in Sandwich. A buffet dinner will be served prior to the show, and begins at 7:00 p.m. each night, with the production following shortly after.

Audience members will enjoy baked chicken, Italian Beef, lasagna, mashed potatoes and gravy, potato salad, green bean casserole, California blend vegetables, a lettuce salad and rolls. Dessert will be served at intermission and a cash bar is also available.

Tickets are $25 per person and include the buffet dinner and show. Show only tickets, which do not include dinner or dessert, are $12.  Reservations are being accepted, must be made no later than July 28, and can be made by visiting www.wewantpr.com or by calling toll free at 888-395-0797.

 

“The Fatal Fifties Affair” is a play composed by Eileen Moushey, famed author of a string of audience interactive murder mystery performances. The production is a whodunit type of adventure, allowing patrons to assist in solving the crime if they choose.

 

The script may feature multiple endings, depending on who is charged with the murder.

 

“The Fatal Fifties Affair” features Nick Kinner and Rachel Ritchie (DeKalb), Sallie Levevenz and Jaye Morrison (Sandwich), Emily Glover and Gina Palmer (Plano), Ted Holste (Joliet), and Lena Orwig (Somonauk).
