Sara and Sally are about 1 year old Lab / AmStaff mixes (We think) that came to us when their owners abandoned them because they didn’t look (or act) like Pitbulls. They were dumped at a kill shelterwhen they were only 8 months old.
When they first came to Illinois, they relied on each other because of the neglect they experienced all of their short life. They have been in a foster home for a couple of months and have learned that people are good, and not out to hurt them.

Sarah loves to cuddle and will be your best friend for just a few kind words. She is SO sweet!

Sally loves walks, rides nicely in a car, and bonded quickly with her foster family. She is a little more cautious than her sister when she meets new people but quickly warms up and give sweet kisses!
Both of them get along well with their foster mom's other dogs and are great at Petsmart at adoption events. They are housebroken, and crate trained, calm, and are learning not to pull on the leash. They are smart and want to please their family members. They will make wonderful family dogs.....and can be adopted with or without their sister... they are doing really well separately…but if you adopt both you will receive a reduction in the adoption fee.
Sarah and Sally are spayed, up to date on shots, have rabies vaccination, micro chipped, fecal test, dewormed, HW- and on Frontline.
