Date For Witches Ball Set

Sandwich, IL – The Sandwich Association of Merchants announced their second annual Witches Ball will take place Saturday, October 19. On that date, participating retailers will offer sales, coupon books and store specific events. The day has expanded this year to also include a Halloween costume ball at the Best Western Plus Timber Creek Inn & Suites that evening.

Tickets for the Witches Costume Ball are $30 per person if purchased in advance of October 12 or $35 after that date and at the door. Ticket price includes a Halloween themed buffet with items such as apple cider, appetizers, salad, entrée, and dessert. The ball will have a cash bar, DJ, karaoke and a costume contest with prizes for witches and warlocks. For those interested in staying the night at the hotel, a special rate of  $89.99 is available the night of the ball.

Proceeds from the ball will be donated to Our Sharing Pantry, which is a food pantry operated by St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk. The pantry serves residents of Somonauk, Sandwich and Leland. For more information on Our Sharing Pantry, call 815-786-3667.
