RSVP
(Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) makes volunteering easy. Are you 55 or over and want to volunteer in
Kendall County? Check out these
volunteer opportunities:
NEW
*** Salvation Army Red Kettle Bell Ringers, Oswego IL: Volunteers
needed to ring the bell and collect donations at Jewel-Osco, Route 30 and
Douglas in Oswego. Two hour time windows
are available starting at 9am and ending at 5pm. Volunteers needed Dec 2nd through
Dec 24th. Donations collected
support families and individuals in need in the communities in which the
donations are raised.
Transportation
Drivers: Kendall and Southern
Kane Counties. Good drivers needed to
drive seniors to necessary appointments such as doctor visits, pharmacy or
grocery shopping.

Meals
on Wheels: Kitchen and Prep
helpers or meal delivery drivers at Meals on Wheels Yorkville location. Mornings Monday-Friday. Drivers needed in Plano, Oswego, Yorkville,
Boulder Hill.Caring Hands Thrift Store, Yorkville:
Organize donations, run cash register, greet customers, organize books. Set your own schedule!

Senior Services Associates, Yorkville:
A health and wellness trainer is needed. Be trained on health and fitness education
classes and with a goal of becoming a co-trainer At Senior Services
Yorkville. Training is required and
provided, class times will be built around your availability.
Nursing
Home Ombudsman: Kendall and Kane
Counties. Be a Citizen Representative at
an assigned nursing home. Hears concerns
from residents and is trained on how to escalate concerns to an Ombudsman
Supervisor. Training required and
provided. Various locations throughout
Fox Valley.
