Today is School Board Members Day in Illinois
The Y115 school board will be recognized at their Nov. 25 board meeting.
November 15 has been designated as School Board Members Day in Illinois, and Yorkville School District 115 is joining other districts across the state to thank these community volunteers for their commitment and contributions to our public schools.
“Our school board is comprised of dedicated community members who guide the district in making student-centered decisions,” said Yorkville Superintendent, Tim Shimp.
School Board Members donate their time and expertise to furthering District goals and strengthening Yorkville schools; they have an extraordinary dedication to public education. Yorkville School District 115 will recognize School Board Members at the meeting on November 25.
