On Monday, November 5, 2012 at 7pm, we have special  evening hours at More Polish Pottery featuring Ceramika Artystyzna polish pottery and a local author, Monica Lee.  Monica recently published, "The Perfecussionist's Wife: A memoir of Sex, Crime, and Betrayal". She explores theme of fidelity, faith and justice.

More Polish Pottery is a female owned business and is the largest retail location to find pottery made in Poland anywhere in Northern Illinois. They are located in a unique setting in rural Big Rock just 5 minutes west of Rt. 47. Each polish pottery piece is hand stamped mainly by woman artists and is made with eco-friendly glazes. This pottery is safe for the oven, dishwasher, microwave, and freezer.  Guests can make wish lists, wedding registries, do holiday shopping, or just enjoy looking at handcrafted pieces, just 5 minutes west of Sugar Grove.  Rebecca, the owner, fell in love with the pottery when she was stationed overseas as a military wife and opened her family business in 2011.  They offer retail hours and are also open by appointment.

Monica Lee, is an author from Hampshire, IL and will be on location to talk about her book and offer the opportunity to purchase the book. Monica is a writer and personal historian who is a seasoned journalist and marketer with a background in newspapers and direct sales companies.
