So...last year I shared my top 12 exercises when I did my "On the 12th Day of Christmas My Trainer Gave to Me...." It was a lot of fun and I met my own challenge of posting 12 days in a row-Whoo Hoo! Most of the exercises required no special equipment-mostly just your own body weight-which, personally speaking, during the holiday season that's plenty for me! You might want to revisit these and create your own "Holiday Workout" :)
This year I am "giving" you my top 12 Fitness Gifts. Now, let me just say up front that any fitness related gift must be given in the right spirit! If you are subtly (or maybe not so subtly) suggesting to a loved one that they need to get in shape, and maybe they don't agree...well....I'm just suggesting that a little sensitivity may be in order here. Only two times in all my years of training has some unsuspecting person become my client-much to their surprise, if you know what I mean... I usually try to talk the gift giver out of giving this type of "surprise" gift! Most likely if you are buying someone some type of fitness gift it is because they have already expressed a desire to become fit and healthy. There are lots and lots of fitness/health related gifts out there so I will just tell you about 12 that will make you look like the most awesome, thoughtful gift giver in the world!
