A special thanks to Kendall County Food Pantry Pet Food Coordinator Mary Anne Ryan for providing this news release and photograph.

Yorkville Middle School Student Council Members had another successful pet food drive at Oswego Petco on Saturday, 2/11/12 in spite of the frigid temperatures. Customers purchased pet food or donated money to benefit the Kendall County food Pantry.

In addition, Petco recently surpassed a major milestone, topping $3 billion in sales for the year. In recognition for this milestone, every Petco Store made a cash donation to a deserving animal welfare partner of their choice.  The Oswego Petco chose the Kendall County Food Pantry.  Mary Anne Ryan, Pet Food Distribution Coordinator for the KCFP, received a $100 gift card to be applied to purchase food for the pantry's clients' pets.
