Loose Sprinkler Triggers Alarm at Yorkville High School
Students and staff wait on lawn until all clear signal was given.
A loose sprinkler head triggered an alarm at Yorkville High School Thursday afternoon, Yorkville CUSD 115 officials said.
A swarm of public safety officials convereged on campus while the students and staff waited on the lawn for about an hour until the all clear was given and the school day resumed, said District 115 spokesperson Megan Jacobs.

Not the whole story, My son tells me this incident was more than a loose sprinkler that malfunctioned. I am told the sprinkler worked as designed and someone that is a YHS student will be subject to severe disciplinary sanctions for intentionally setting it off and violating school rules.
