The Yorkville High School Music Boosters provided the following news release:

This year’s Red Paw Chili Supper, hosted by Yorkville Music Boosters, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, in the Yorkville High School cafeteria. 

The chili supper portion of the event will be held from 5 – 6:45 p.m. in the cafeteria. Yorkville High School Band students will serve up a variety of chili recipes with fixings, a beverage and dessert.  The YHS Chamber Strings will be performing during the chili supper.  Attendees also will have the opportunity to take a chance on raffles.

Starting at 7 p.m., the YHS Marching Foxes Band will present an indoor concert of their 2011 marching show -- “The Music of Journey” -- in the YHS gym. 

In advance (until Oct. 22), suggested ticket donations for the Red Paw Chili Supper are $5 per person or $20 per family.  At the door, the suggested ticket donation will be $7 per person.  Students who perform at the event will be admitted for free.  For advance tickets, contact Chris at 630-553-2055 or chrishamp@ymail.com.

All proceeds go to the Yorkville Music Boosters to support music education programs and activities for Yorkville band, choir and orchestra students.
