Wallace “Wally” Carl Ellen, Jr., passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL.  He was born on June 21, 1946, the son of Wallace and Dorothy (Doruska) Sr. 

Mr. Ellen served his country proudly in the United States Army.  He was united in marriage to Lana Justus; they spent many happy years of their lives together, until her passing.  He was later united in marriage to Bonnie Albrecht and they spent the next 15 happy years of their lives together until her passing on January 26, 2006.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Alan) Bastian; his children, Kurt (Barb) Albrecht, Sharlyn (Steve) Deombeleg, Wallace “Sonny” (Nancy) Ellen, and Dee Dee (Tim) Johnson; his grandchildren, Rico Bianchi, Ashley Willman, Jordan Rozanski, Abbey Rozanski, Brandon Swan, Chelsey Ellen, Claudia Johnson, Steven Deombeleg, Dylan Johnson, Emily Albrecht, Olivia Deombeleg, Kylie Albrecht, and Scarlett Johnson; and his sisters, Patricia (Ron) Novak, Bev (Tom) Hoey, and Bobbi (Rocky) Tangora; as well as, several nieces and nephews.

Wally was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Ellen, Sr., his first wife, Lana Ellen, his second wife, Bonnie Ellen, and his grandparents, Charles and Agnes Doruska.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, 8609 Rt. 47, Yorkville, IL.  Interment will be private.
