The Kendall County Sheriff's Office provided the following news release:
The Kendall County TRIAD will be sponsoring a one-day Senior Safety Conference to provide seniors with a variety of information.
Session topics will range from how to identify a scam to how to take care of your health to live a longer, happier life.
The seminar is scheduled to meet from 9am to 3pm on Wednesday, May 2 at the Kendall County Historic Courthouse, 110 West Madison Street, Yorkville. Registration will begin at 7:30AM.
Here are some of the course topics:
- Law Elder Law – Importance of drafting Powers of Attorney for health care and property in the state of Illinois!
- Veterans Programs – Learn about Veteran Assistance Programs in your area that you may be able to benefit from!
- Crime Prevention & Traffic Safety – Be a Savvy Senior when it comes to traffic safety and recent senior scams!
- TRIAD Basics – learn about your local TRIAD programs, what they do for YOU, and how you can get involved!
