The Chapel on the Green Historical Society NFP provided the following news release:

There will be more than 50 wedding dresses as part the fashion show or on display at the Century of Brides event at the Chapel on the Green on Sunday, April 22.  The dresses represent the changing  bridal fashions from  the late 1800s to the present.

There will also be many interesting photos and otgher wedding memorabilia which will be display.  There is a need for dress forms for the displays.  If you have one the committee can borrow, please call Susan Kritzberg at 630-553-7773.

The early purchase of tickets is a must to ensure entry to this event. There is limited seating, and only advance tickets will be sold.  Tickets are available at Nanette's--The Giving Boutique, 101 E. Center St., Yorkville, call for hours:  630-553-5333; or call Phyllis Benson at 815-786-7006 or 630-346-7329. She will mail tickets after she receives a check and a self-addressed stamped envelope. 

Tickets are $15.00 each, for any age, and besides the fashion show in the Chapel, includes a light bridal type tea.
