Adults over the age of 16 can participate in a weekly Thursday Afternoon Artist through July and August at the Rookery Building of the Hoover Forest Preserve.
Carolyn Freese, a skilled artist and instructor, will guide participants on skills such as brush, pencil and brand advice to enlightening critiques and technique tips.
The cost of class is $95 for a four-week class. Participants will be able to choose dates of their convenience. Classes will be held from 12:30 to 3 p.m.
