Special Presentation: Helping people help their trees.  

Dave Bruckner of The Care of Trees,  was the presenter at the Thursday, June 21 YACC Leads Group 1 meeting. He noted that it’s personal service that sets The Care of Trees apart. They will come out, assess your trees and create individual plans for individual proprietors. With extremely dry conditions, it’s important to take care of young trees and water them at their base to drip line. He added having mature trees can increase the value of your property 15%-20%. The Care of Trees is more than just pruning. They offer insect management, tree and stump removal, and trimming in addition to their 24-hour customer service. The Care of Trees customers ranges from individual homeowners to entire cities. The territory includes St. Charles, Naperville and Geneva to downtown Chicago and O’Hare International Airport. Dave has been with the company for 19 years, and has a degree in nursery management.
