State Representative Pam Roth (R-Morris) and State Representative Kay Hatcher (R-Yorkville) provided the following news release:
State Representative Pam Roth (R-Morris) and State Representative Kay Hatcher (R-Yorkville) will be hosting a foreclosure help event at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday September 25 at the Fox Valley Family YMCA at 3875 Eldamain Rd, Plano.
“We have received several calls at our office and it is important that when people are facing difficulties paying their mortgage that they understand there are options and the process itself,” said Roth.
The event will feature speakers and information from the Illinois Housing Developmental Authority, HUD and The State Treasurer’s Finally Home Program. In addition banks will be on hand to talk with clients one on one.
“Too many families facing possible foreclosure may not realize there are options available that may enable them to work with their lender and prevent the loss of their home. I encourage everyone having difficulty making their payments to attend this event to see what help is out there,” Hatcher said
Documents to bring to expedite receiving help include: two months’ pay stubs, current government benefits award letter, proof of child support payments, two months bank statements, two years of W-2s, most resent tax returns, a completed budget, recent utility bills, homeowners association agreements, mortgage statement, property tax bill and homeowners insurance declaration page.
