Sandwich Chamber Hosts Halloween Walk

Sandwich, IL - The Sandwich Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their third annual Halloween Walk in downtown Sandwich this weekend. The walk will take place on Saturday, October 27 from noon to 2pm. Children and adults of all ages are invited to participate. The walk will primarily take place on Railroad and Main Streets in Sandwich.

Trick or treaters are encouraged to begin their outing at the Gazebo in Veterans Park (151 E Railroad St, Sandwich). The Chamber will be giving out maps and treat bags to anyone in costume. The treat bags have been graciously donated by Village Ace Hardware of Sandwich. Sandwich Fire Department will bring out a fire truck and Sparky the fire dog to meet and greet with all the children.

Along the route, there will also be an opportunity to have your picture taken at Photography Studio 37 (37 S Main St in the Johnson Floral Building).

Tentatively a list of businesses that will be participating in the walk include Bittersweets, Bone Appetit, Bull Moose Bar & Grill, Country Emporium, Country Financial, Cuttin Corners, Derailed, Duy's Shoes & Accessories, Farmers Daughter, Gonzo's Pizza, Hoadley's Hallmark, Jimmy Sam's Pizza, Johnson Floral, Kiwanis, Knittorious, Knuckle Hedz, Leo's Awards Gifts & Engraving, Mandee Lee's, Photography Studio 37, Prindi's Antiques, Sandra Rudd Educational Services, Rick Olson For Mayor, Spaesthetics, Swanson Tax Services, The Trading Company, Treasures Past & Present, Two Sisters, Vintage Vibe and White Tree Books.
