The Kendall County State's Attorney's Office provided the following news release:
Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis announced that Tamara M. Turner, 19, of the 3700 block of Pope Court, Plano, was sentenced on one count of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class 1 felony and was sentenced to 7 years in prison last week.
According to Weis, Turner delivered multiple pills containing MDMA, commonly known as “Ecstacy” to an undercover police officer from CPAT and was subsequently arrested. Weis praised the hard work and dedication of the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team and the Illinois State Police for their work in this investigation.
Turner has been sentenced to seven (7) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and must serve two (2) years of Mandatory Supervised Release (Parole) upon her release.
