Patch Blogger Pat Gavros Featured Speaker at Luncheon

The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce monthly Woman 2 Woman luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, June 12, 2012. This months program, “Living Each Day with Passion, Purpose and Patriotism”, will be presented by Pat Gavros, author, publisher and speaker. Pat Gavros, President of Branthony Publishing, has authored two books: “Crumbled Oak Leaf, Words of Grief and Hope” and “So Gallantly Waving” Words of Patriotism and Gratitude”. She is currently working on her third book “Final Tributes, Incredible Ways Americans are Remembering the Fallen”, which is dedicated to the troops who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan.
By sharing her incredible personal story, Gavros inspires others to find the relevance of patriotism in their own lives in both small and large ways. As an ardent enthusiast of patriotism, she shares her mission in life, “To live each day with passion, purpose and patriotism.”
The W2W luncheon will take place at Ralph’s Place at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course in Bristol from 11:30 to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 12. Cost for the luncheon is $20 for YACC members and $25 for non-members. Networking begins at 11:30 followed by lunch at noon and this month’s networking event.
New lunch punch cards are now available. Purchase a card for the cost of 5 luncheons and receive the 6th lunch for free! Punch cards are transferable but not refundable. They will expire 18 months from date of issue. Punch cards may be purchased at the luncheons or by contacting the chamber office in advance. Check, cash or credit card payment can be made in advance or at the door.
