William Campbell, Jr., age 82 of Sandwich, IL passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He was born on October 21, 1929 in Arkansas.

Bill was united in marriage to Nora Jean Vick for many years, until her passing in 2008. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Sandwich, IL. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, step-father and step-grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Joyce Brison of Chicago, IL, Barbara Otten of Grand Rapids, MI, William Campbell, III of Champaign, IL, Wallace L. (Christine) Campbell of Grand Rapids, MI, Norris W. (Junyce) Campbell of Homewood, IL, Linda (Grayor) Thomas of Chicago, IL, Peggy Franks of Chicago, IL, Patricia Williams of Coon Rapids, MN, Lori (Chester) McDaniel of Chicago, IL and Michael (Celeste) Campbell of Bellwood, IL; his step-daughter, Debra (Bill) Haws of Las Vegas, NV; his 34 grandchildren; and his 37 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nora Jean Campbell; and his son-in-law, John Otten.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, visitation will be held prior, on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Faith Baptist Church, 427 W. Church St., in Sandwich, IL with Reverend Steven Rogers, officiating. Interment will be private.
