Nanette's Boutique, located at 101 E. Center Street (along Route 47 north of downtown) in Yorkville, held a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce. The boutique offers a wide range of clothing, accessories and gifts. Referred to as "The Giving Boutique," owner Nanette Michalec donates 10 percent of all sales to a needy family or child, and also purchases her inventory from sources that "give back." On October 8 from 10am to 4pm, Nanette's front porch will be the location for "Cuts for a Cause." Donations will be accepted for haircuts, with all proceeds going to HelpingHunterDarnell.com.
