The Yorkville High School Music Boosters provided the following news release:

Dinner and a show will be served up when Yorkville High School’s Madrigals present their annual Madrigal Dinner performances Dec. 9-11 this year in the YHS Cafetorium. 

Performances of “It’s a Madrigal Life” will be at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9 and Dec. 10, and at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11.  Pre-show holiday music featuring the Madrigal Brass, the Madrigal Strings, the Bel Canto Choir and a harpist, all of YHS, will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

In addition to the 24 singers who comprise the YHS Madrigals, 15 students will act in or direct the production.

These students include: student director, Alex Dewane; lord and lady, Ryan Barkauskas and Rachel Eaton; jester and wench, Terry Pletka and Malia Dunn-Reier; Potter, John Pletka; hosts Maddie Mormino (Friday), Melissa Myers (Saturday), Wendy Myers (Sunday); and criers Zach Belles and Will Belles (Friday), Meggie Kesselring and Haley Rediger (Saturday) and Bobby Allen and Matt Dabbs (Sunday).

Tickets are $20 per person and include a dinner featuring both a grilled chicken breast and grilled pork chop.
