Yorkville gift shop, Nanette’s, announced one of the products carried in their shop will be featured on the ABC talk show, The View, on Friday, May 27, 2011.

The product is called MOGO and is described by the company as a modern twist on the charm bracelet. The bracelet will be included in the segment called “Elizabeth’s Favorite Things.”

The MOGO is a charm band that may be linked to other bands to create a headband, necklace or even a belt. The bands can be accessorized with magnetic interchangeable charms, which come in a variety of themes and colors. The accessory has been gaining popularity since the Disney stars of the show “Shake It Up” were photographed wearing the bracelets.

“Our shop is the only store in a 20 mile radius to carry the MOGO,” said Nanette Michalec, owner of Nanette’s. “We are so excited that this new product is going to get some great exposure. We just began carrying the bracelet and we are expecting another shipment this week that has bands in Yorkville colors of red, black and white.”

Nanette’s is a specialty retail shop that features unique gifts, home décor and jewelry. The store is located at 589 Heartland Drive.

The owner, Nanette Michalec, describes her business as a “giving boutique” because the shop is dedicated to giving back to their local community. Ten percent of every sale is donated to local families in need. The store also showcases product lines that have the same charitable philosophy and support various causes such as Breast Cancer of America, Children’s Miracle Network and Foster Children of Illinois to name a few.
