Prairie Parkway opponents had reason to celebrate at the 11th Annual Stop the Beltway Picnic, at Marvel Davis Farm in Big Rock, on Sunday, August 26.  The Prairie Parkway project is officially terminated.  Many area supporters attended, including 14th District Congressional Candidate Dennis Anderson (www.dennisforcongress.com) and Chuck Sutcliff, President of the Kendall County Democrats (www.kendall-democrats.org).  Chrisi Thanos, President of the Kendall County Democratic Women (www.kendallcountydemocraticwomen.org), would like to offer thanks to all of the people who worked together, from the entire political spectrum, to end this project.
