The Kendall County Republican Women organization is accepting applications for a $1,000.00 scholarship. 

This scholarship is open to a female in Kendall County graduating in the class of 2013, or a Kendall County female continuing or starting their education at an accredited college in Illinois. Applications are due no later than March 30. 

Qualifications include:  residency in Kendall County for
three years, acceptance into a college/university in the state of Illinois, evidence of activity in public and civic affairs, and proof of United States citizenship. 

Thefollowing must be submitted with the application:  Scholastic record and official transcript, two letters of recommendation, and a personal essay. 

Applications will be evaluated on the basis of scholarship potential, career goals, and achievement in school, community or work activities and be recommended by an
unrelated adult who can attest to achievements.
