Yorkville District 115 provided the following news release:
The Yorkville High School Student Council is sponsoring a 7 – 8 minute fireworks show following the 7:30 p.m. Homecoming football game on Friday, Oct. 14. According to Sue Gierzynski, a faculty Homecoming sponsor, the student organization had funds left from the Homecoming dance held last year, and are utilizing those funds for the fireworks show on Oct. 14.
