The Friends of the Yorkville Public Library provided the following news release:

Wanted:  Used Books for the Yorkville Library. The Friends of the Yorkville Public Library is having its fourth annual used book sale during Hometown Days, Saturday and Sunday, September 1 and 2. The group is looking for donations of gently-used books of all types.  Paperbacks, hardcover, and books for adults and children are all accepted.

All books should be brought to the main desk at the Library.

Money raised by the sale is used by the Friends goes directly to support the Library. The Friends of the Yorkville Library is a volunteer group of individuals interested in supporting and promoting the services and programs of the Library.  The Friends meets the second Monday of each month at 10:15 a.m. at the Library.
