Yorkville City Clerk Jackie Milschewski will accept nominating petitions from those running for mayor, city clerk, city treasurer and alderman this spring.

Staff at the city's administration office will accept the petitions from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 13 to 17 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 20., Milschewski announced on the city's Web site. The administration office is located at 800 Game Farm Road, Yorkville.

A single seat is each of the city's four wards for aldermen will be included in the April 5 election. Those seats presently are held by Wally Werderich, Joe Plocher, Robyn Sutcliff and Rose Ann Spears.
