Family Zone Added To Yorkville’s River Night

The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce provided the following news release:

The Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce announced the addition of a Family Zone to their 5th Annual River Night, which will be held on Friday, June 24. A precautionary rain date has been scheduled for June 25.

The center piece of the Family Zone will be a bounce house, which is provided by Hoppers Inflatable Family Fun Center. Kids of all ages will get the chance to bounce for free during River Night. The Family Zone will also include pizza, popcorn, gelato and free face painting for the kids.

 

River Night is celebration filled with music, food, and fun for the whole family. The evening is organized by the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the United City of Yorkville and the Yorkville Parks and Recreation.

The festivities will take place from 5:30 to 10 pm at Yorkville’s Riverfront Bicentennial Park on East Hydraulic Street along the newly completed whitewater course on the Fox River.

Admission to the festival is free and open to the public. Highlights include musical entertainment from 80’s tribute band, Epic, a beer tent for those 21 and over (soft drinks also available), food from Stonefire Restaurant & Pub and WSPY-FM 107.1 will be doing a live remote broadcast.
