The United City of Yorkville posted the following information on its Facebook page:

- The City’s final brush pickup of the year is next week (October 22-26).

- Street sweeping is to be conducted the week of October 29th.

- The City’s leaf pickup is November 5-9th on the north side and November 12-16th on the south side. Since leaves are falling already, we offer a general reminder that bagged leaf pickup is free from Veolia through the end of November. Residents raking leaves to the curb are advised to keep the leaves out of the street, so that vehicles and pedestrians may use the roadway safely. Leaf pickup has been scheduled for these two weeks in November so that we get all leaves on one pass.
